Just a silly question. I just subscribed to this news group and I saw
alot of posts referring to a Foxmail beta 5 edition. Is it available
anywhere in English? Thanks for your time.

If you download it and install it (by pressing intuition), then delete
the file chinese.lgb, or whatever, it all appears in English next time
you run it.
I must admit all this chinese stuff is a bit wearing. The last English
version is 4.1, but it is buggy. I ran 4.2 using the same technique as I
have described and even converted the templates into English, but I got
bored.
I'm currently running Mozilla Thunderbird which is the only client I
know with Bayesian Spam Filtering built in. It has been a delight, but
when I proposed it as Pricelessware, there was no seconder and I'm still
wondering why?

In my experience Thunderbird is very slow, clunky, and lacking in
features compared to other freeware email clients, even though the
file is much larger than most at 7mb. It reminds me of nothing quite
so much as Outlook Express! It does not even have a selective mail
download function. I'm sure the Bayesian filtering is qujite nice,
but my personal preference is to preview mail on the server and delete
the junk then and there.
