I found spyware that Microsoft Antispyware doesn't detect.

Internet Cookie from 2o7.net
Internet Cookie from imrworldwode.com
Trojan from TROJ_Small.NAA Company

1) Update both Microsoft Antispyware and your antivirus
application.
2)Restart in safe mode by pressing the F8 function key
before the first Windows screen appears at startup.
3) Do full deep scans with Microsoft Antispyware. Repeat
scanning until a complete scan comes through clean. Ditto
with the antivirus.

This isn't guaranteed, but it works for a great many items
that at first appear not to be cleaned in normal mºde.

This beta does not search for or deal with cookies since
cookies are a privacy issue, not spyware.

Trojans ussually are virus.

Will Microsoft AntiSpyware scan for and detect Trojans
and Cookies and privacy issues. Most AntiSpyware software
I use does.

In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie jar, nor does
it chase data miner objects.

If you are chasing a true trojan, then your current, up to date AntiVirus
should really be taking care of that.

I ran SpyBot and it detected "BackWeb Lite" which had 61 entries and another
called "GolnDirect" with 4 entries that it could not erase. I ran the MS
Antispyware and neither was detected.

Ialso found BackWeb Lite on my PC after installing Spybot(on recommendation
of a computer friend) and it turns out mine is linked to my digital camera
software updater and this is why Spybot doesn't enter a tick in it when it
finds it. Have since emailed the camera company to ask if really need the
updater. Maybe this is the same reason you have BackWeb Lite on your system
as for the other one never heard of that but could be connected to another
piece of software you have installed like say a camera printer dock, web cam
something like this but Spybot tells you the program the it found these in so
check and see what it is connected to then contact the companies involved in
it, that's what I did.

:
HP also uses Backweb Lite to do updates. When I let one of the
anti-spyware applications kill the Backweb, I lost the ability to get
the updates.

Hi Texas Handly,

Spybot doesn't tick it and as it said it was in my camera software folder I
didn't ask it to delete it but I can see why you decided to let the program
try deleting it and this is why I checked the more information bit on the
Spybot program to see where it was and it had detected some changes to my
registry that would be DOS but it said nothing had been done so I told it to
delete them and as I don't use my camera software to make fancy edited films
or things like this it made me decide to email them and ask them if I can
safely take the updater off as I only use it to transfer the photos to a
folder so can put them on disc and as I'm a pretty basic knowledge computer
user I don't do any deleting with Spybot without asking my friend for help
first but sounds as if you may have more IT skills than I have.
