Windows XP professional + SP1 on Toshiba M30. Synchs to 1 Windows XP Pro +
Sp1, 2 Windows 2000 servers.
Thats what happens:
1st bug:
- connect the laptop at the network cable and power on
- login
- DON'T do anything
- Synch wil NOT occur, until a network operation occurs (like opening a
network folder, launch IExplore......)
2nd bug:
- after a correct synch at login, let the portable standby
- change something on the network side
- resume the portable form standby
- logoff
- sync process starts
- nothing gets synched, like if nothing changed on the network (but it did).
This latest bug doesn't happen if a network access is performed before
logging off.
Conclusion.
Offline files synchs works assuming a successful network access is performed
by user intervention (open a network folder, browser, etc).
MS do something!!!!
