I installed a Western Digital 40G hard drive as a slave
to my 80 G western drive (boot drive). This is a new
Computer running Windows XP Pro on 2.4Ghz Pentium 4.
Everytime I boot up I get the "New Hardware Found"
wizard. The Wizard says it could not install this
hardware (then it gives the name correct name & model of
the new hard drive). Then the only option the wizard
gives is "Finish". The Hard drive is there and
recognized by the Disk Manager and on the desk top and
seems to be working just fine. The only issue I can find
is that the system cannot seem to find a signature for
the drive???. Can you help me get the system
to "install" and properly recognize the drive so that it
stops giving me the wizard every time I boot up?
Thanks
