I was looking for this kind of program from many months...and finally I
tried to do it by myself ( http://makeashorterlink.com/?W2D851F19 )

Today I've found 1st TurboRun Internet 1.0
http://www.turborun.com/internet/
that is a free subset of a bigger software (which search also in
documents, programs,...) but for the incremental search in favorites is
very fast: if you have many bookmarks, this is the fastest way to find
them.

I hope it will remain free with only these limitations. :-/

Hello Simone:

I like Quick Favorites Search:

What is QFS?

"QFS is a tiny Visual Basic program that fast searches on the "Favorites"
directory for a string in the name (or in the URL) of your Internet's
shortcut files. It can also read Netscape Navigator and Opera bookmark
files. [ It also works on Mozilla ]

The program was written because the fact that, although one maintains a
structured and sorted favorites folder, it's lots faster to search for a
favorite than navigating the long structured favorites tree.

If you have hundreds or thousands of favorites, try QFS! It's is worth
downloading and trying! The download is only 30KB."

I like Quick Favorites Search:

Uh, I lost it...it's smaller and tiny, but doesn't perform a true
incrementale search.

Your right; does not do an incremental search but does a very quick
search of all bookmarks.
