FOUND.000 recovery

Our computer suffered a power failure w/o a proper shutdown recently, and
after rebooting (which checked the disks for consistency) there is a folder
named C:\FOUND.000 which contains a FILE0000.CHK "recovered file fragments".

How do I put those files where they belong? I don't even know what they are.

Thanks.
 
You could try opening them with notepad to see if there is any
recognizable text in them, but it's likely they are junk now.
