We can now forward SPAM to the Government Officials at
the Federal Trade Comission i.e. (e-mail address removed)
I have had no problems with this, so far. If I ever
receive a suspected Virus I would like to forward it, as
well.
When Forwarding, OUTLOOK first opens the file. That
could be devastating, if the Email, is indeed, a Virus.
How can I send a suspected Virus to the the G-Men w/o
opening it first?

Keep your AV software updated, keep Windows and Office patched to the gills
via Windows Update (and office update from within there). Spam is not a
virus (although the analogy might be stretched to include it). And I'm not
sure that forwarding a virus is a very good idea - why not just use good AV
software to make sure you don't get infected?

The only problem with forwarding spam, is that if you don't include the
original e-mail headers, it's pretty useless - you'll need to open the
message, go to view | options, copy the headers from the box, close, hit
forward, and paste the header info at the top of the new message.

Yes, true - I didn't think of that. Thanks. :-)
An alternative to include the header is to create a new message and
drag and drop the message you want to forward in the new e-mail. It
will now be attached and the header will be left intact as the
attachment is in msg-format.
