Forwarding emails, images removed

We have SBS 2003 with Exchange. We were using Outlook 2003 on Windows 2000.
I am the 'adminstrator' of the SBS server. Now we have two new computers
with Windows XP and Office 2007. I have one, my boss has the other.

The problem is when my boss forwards emails to me to print them out. The
images are stripped out, leaving squares where the pictures were. Why is
this happening and how do I correct this? It did not happen with Outlook
2003.

Sometimes I get the same emails, say from Dell or HP, and the images are not
stripped out. So it has to do with forwarding.

Thanks!

When your boss forwarded the email, did he/she selected to download the
images or not?

Very likely not. Why does he have to when he didn't before?

Is there a setting to fix it? That is, make downloading automatic?

Thanks!

Also, I've just checked and I don't see any option to select downloading
images when forwarding email. I thought the email downloaded the images.

When you open a message that contains pictures from the web, they are
blocked by default. When you press forward without downloading the images
first, you'll get prompted to do that.

Can you repro the issue when sending a newsletter that you've received, with
images from the web, to your boss?

OK, it looks like I have "Don't download pictures automatically" unchecked
in my Trust Center options, while I guess my boss does have it checked. I
will uncheck it on my boss's computer as well, he will not have the patience
to deal with any dialog boxes when forwarding.

Thanks for helping!
