Forwarding E Mail

When I forward a message that was sent to me, all the addresses show up
exactly as it originally came to me. With XP I just highlighted and deleted
them all. It is not working now. How do I do it?

What mail client --- Windows Mail?

When I right-click|FORWARD a message I see no names in the TO field.
