When I receive E-mails with pictures and want to forward
them to others, I get a red X where the pictures were in
the original E-mail. Also, sometimes I get E-mails that
have a red X where the picture should be.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi,

Are you using Outlook Express for receice/send emails?
If yes, open OE, click Tools/Options/Security and uncheck
the box for attachment.
However, after unckeck the box, you must be very careful
for opening the attachment from unknown persons as it may
contain virus.

There is a possibility that the failure of the picture to
forward is caused by the fact that it cannot be found on
your computer. Try this: Right-click the picture you
have received and "Save Picture As" in the "My Pictures"
folder. You can delete it if you do not wish to keep it,
after you have sent your E-mail message with the intended
attached picture. There is not anything I know of that
you can do about receiving E-mails with pictures not
displayed, other than help the sender to learn about
sending pictures.
