Forwarders Tab

What would cause everything to be greyed out on this tab? I can't make any
selections here.

SP4, in native mode

Here is the Article to Fix it. Your DNS server is acting
as a root server. Root servers cannot forward.

I had the same problem. Delete .root in your DNS servers. Go to
Administrative tools -DNS. Click on your server and delete .root.

Delete the "." root folder from within forward lookup zones. Close the DNS MMC and open it again. The forwarders tab should not be available.
