forward without viewing?

I'm trying to find a way to do two things to try and deal with all the spam.
First thought was to forward what I can tell is spam to another e-mail
account that I will set up. Not by "filtering" I have several hundred
filters setup already but by me choosing the e-mail in my inbox list and
simply forwarding it. I can select "forward" of course but the problem is
that in order to forward the message I must view it.

I don't want to open the e-mail using my regular e-mail account I just want
it forwarded to another account. If I choose to open it it at all it will
be from that other account. Is there a way to fashion a "forward" that is
quick and one that doesn't open the spam e-mail?

Secondarily (or perhaps instead) is there a simple way to view an e-mail but
not through Outlook's e-mail viewer? I'd like to see the raw file with the
headers and stuff but I don't want any code to execute or any url links to
operate, I don't care if imbedded graphics don't display. I'm trying to get
a sense of whether there are any phone numbers or web addresses included and
such but again I'm trying to avoid opening the thing in Outlook on the
chance that something ends up clueing the spammer that I received the
e-mail.

Again I'd like to be able to do this as I'm looking at the inbox listing but
without actually opening the mail for reading.

Thanks,
Tom

You can create a new mail and drap & drop the unread mail in it as
attachment.

Unfortunately your idea of forwarding your mail to another account won't
help you anything in your fight against spam. The linked pictures still
track to your original address.

With Outlook you can't view the original raw message without first opening
it. Basically you shouldn't want this either. You failed to mention your
version of Outlook but in Outlook 2003 pictures are blocked by default.
Outlook 2003 also holds a built in spamfilter as fighting spam with message
rules is getting harder and harder. If you don't have Outlook 2003 and
upgrading is not an option you might want to look for a separate spamfilter.
Some spamfilters can also block linked pictures natively.

Just to clarify you're suggesting that when an e-mail contains a link to an
image on a server on the Internet that along with the request for the image
can be a copy of e-mail address which the sender imbedded. Right? Notepad
however won't request the image will it? That's why there was a part two to
my message.

I have Outlook 2000, I'll have 2003 shortly and I'm aware of the image
blocking and other filtering that has been added. That's not what I was
looking for. I want to see if there is a toll-free phone number in the
e-mail or a URL where the URL contains a toll-free number because I'm going
to call it.

I don't quite understand why I should not want to be able to view the raw
message in a text editor incapable of retrieving any image or executing any
code.

I'm not blocking mail locally, it's a little late after the messages arrive.
And every user account would have to do it. I'm adding them at the server
so they are discarded immediately and for every account.

Spam filters however don't work and I doubt that will change. Anything
which can produce false positives means I will discard what could have been
an important message from a client or potential client.

I still need a simple way to view the e-mail without Outlook, some sort of
add-in that gives me raw file viewing.
