from people that look at my website. how abouts do i do this?

File Menu | New Page | Feedback ???

You must then publish the site to a server that has the FP extensions via FP's File Menu | Publish
Web / Site to http://www.yourdomainname.com

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

i guess i am not following what you are saying. is there anyway without
publishing the site to the net that i can see if it works. or how do i go
about editing on the site itself and testing it out right away. this is all
fairly new to me.

You must be running Frontpage 98/2000 and Personal Web Server; or IIS on
Windows 2000 and later. Publish the site to http://localhost. PWS won't
run under Windows 2000/XP.

This will make your computer "feel" like a web server, and give you a better
idea of the functionality of the site including the server extension
features like forms, without actually being live.

If he's running on Apache, the program that does the mail sending
could be called SENDMAIL.

Look for the perl script at the following link by clicking on the
FORMMAIL link. The end result on sending email probably is
going to depend upon the server side scripting language the OP
uses/employs.
