Forrests and trusts (please help)

Hi all,

I am an administrator of 2 w2k forrests.

Forrest_one and Forrest_two.

Forrest_one had a oneway trust to Forrest_two. (users of forrest_two could
access forrest_one)

I have tryed to make this a twoway (two oneway) trust, but it could not be
etablished. I than deleted the first trust and tried to recreate the trust
together with the second trust.

That failed too and now I have a not working trust witch can not be fixed.
Even worse, the first trust seems to be back, (from forrest_one to
Forrest_two) but seems to be a "Tree Root" trust.

How can I solve this problem.

Note:

W2k sp4 servers
2 Forrests with 1 domain each
Both forrests have 2 Domain Controllers. Forrest_two has 2 NT4 BDC's and is
in mixed mode.

How are you tring to create the trust? Meaning, which
tool are you using?

I use the Active directory Domains and trusts...
(properties of the domain and go to tab Trusts)
