HI SIR,

I WANT TO USE FORMULA IN A BOX (MS EXCEL 2003),
IS IT POSSIBLE??

PLS HELP ME OUT

THANKS IN ADVANCE
DEBASHIS

Just enter the formula the same way you would if you entered the formula in a
cell.

If you use both a cell and a textbox to hold the formula, the user can see
both the result and how the result was obtained.

yes sir, that’s correct

but my moto is that I want to move the box where ever I want. and
the box should contain the formula result which I obtained by giving the
formula in the box itself.

thanks again

Use the "$" sign. i.e. instead of a simple B3 make it $B$3, this way, where
ever it is you move your formula, it will still point to the same
references.

Are you referring a "Box" to be a "cell"?
A1 is actually a cell not considered a Box...

yes sir,

actually I want to use formula within any box instead of cells
so that I can move the formula result where ever I want.

thanks

Okay,
Still not sure what a "Box" is, is it a text box or a shape?

Anyway click on the Box, then go to the formula bar and enter the
formula =a1, the Box should show the value from A1.

sorry sir,
its my mistake

I mean to say any movable box, may be text box, auto shape, combo box etc.
that can update formula result form any cell
