I was wondering if someone could help me figure out a formula. I am getting data from my bank account and it appears like this (this is just a example not exact data)
Col 1 - Col 2 - Col 3
Trans Detail - Debit - Credit
Petrol - $50 - 0
Grocery - $100 - 0
Income - 0 - $250
Bills - $20 - 0
Income - 0 - $250
Petrol - $50 - 0
What i am trying to do is in a cell make it display the Sum of all the transaction that are the same. So i want it to find all the transactions called "Petrol" and add the value of them so in this case it would be $100.
I hope this makes sense, and any help is greatly appreciated.
