Forms view problem

Have just acquired the job as head of the membership
committee. I was inputting new member information while
in the Forms view (where you fill out a pop up form) and
was also updating current member information. I exited
the program when I was done and then went back in to check
my work - only to my horror - that everything in the Forms
view had disappeared. The information I had input is
still in the database because when I open the Current
Members document in the Reports view, the information is
in there. I understand that I can also input new
information via the Tables view, but I understand that is
not the best way to use this database.
I did a test and put in an anonymous name while in the
Forms view and exited again. That anonymous name
disappeared also but is found in the Reports view.

Any advice as to what happened?

If your form has the DataEntry property turned on then it does not show
existing records when opened, but is only intended to make additions. If
you want to see previous entries then turn that property off.
