Hi,
I have created an Access 2000 project and created
access forms to display my data. I have allined all the
controls exactly by hand to fit correctly in the screen
area, and this looks fine on my PC. When I distribute my
application to other users however, the labels don't fit
right on their screens.

How can I avoid this problem. It is very difficult to
solve when it looks OK on my PC. Isn't Access suposed to
be WYSIWYG!

Thanks in Advance
Chris

Every video card is a little different. Even changing drivers to a newer
driver on the same video card will sometimes make a difference, not to
mention the problems that occur if a user has been playing with their
display settings and chosen large fonts. In most cases though, just allowing
a little bit of fudge room when you size your controls will cover most
problems. Don't size controls down to where the text just fits, leave a
little room, usually one "notch" on the design grid is sufficient.

Thanks Wayne,
I will try this.
Regards
Chris
