Formfield validation using form wizard

Whenever I create a form in FP 2003 using the form wizard, and include radio
buttons, I cannot find a way to include underscores in the group name, if I
want that value to have more than one word in it. It then throws up a "name
is not valid" error message. It actually still appears to work, but this is
irritating when editing the formfields. Is there something I'm missing,
other than needing to manually edit the group names?

thanks,

Hi,

I believe the error you describe here has to do with the name being a valid JavaScript object name. When a field element has spaces
or other special characters it may not be used with JavaScript references.

Thanks, Mike.

My question was, in the "form wizard" in FP, which you access under "new
page" there is no way to enter underscores between words that I have found.
This requires either naming the variable all one word one together (which
the secretaries are objecting to) or manually going back to edit the fields
to insert underscores. The form wizard is a handy little animal to put a
quick form together, but this is a limitation. I was wondering if there's a
way to put in underscores which I am missing.

thanks,
Erin

Form field names can not have spaces or a number as the first character, the Values for the field
you can add spaces.
