Susan

I am posting to a PHP based web. Instructions suggest using Wordpad or
Notepad to copy into the website and then editing to change the font, color
of font, etc. There are examples as to how to add the etc. and
create links. This slows me down.

I wish that I could set up FrontPage somehow so that I could change the
font, add my links, also I could verify my links before posting, and then
just copy my code to the PHP website.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

Thanks,
Susan

You can only open the site in FP, if the site has the FP extensions installed.

I did not explain it very well. I am just trying to use FP for an WYSIWYG
editor before I copy text to php site. I tried it but got some wrapping
around. So far I have been using Word but then I have to go back and insert
text color and line breaks. Guess I will have to play around with it.

Thanks,
Susan

Ok, you can configure FP to open .php files under Tools | Options | Editors.

Thanks but I did not explain it well. I am not doing anything with php but
just copying text to text box provided by website which is done in php. If
I copy from design mode it seems to work fairly well. If I copy from code I
get extra span, style, etc showing up in text. Maybe if I could use CSS and
set it up somehow where I could just copy my text and have the color
formatting, etc.--I can't have the span, and other formatting.

I will play with it and see if I can get it to work. It would be nice to be
able to verify links, format text and then just copy to php website without
having to use the text box provided and then add the color of text, smilies,
etc.

Thanks for your time.

Sound like you will have to either use notepad and then copy and paste or just manually enter your
text and font tags in the form field on the website.

You are probably right. But I am going to experiment.
