Hello,
I have a USB memory that when I am trying to use it on windows 2000, it
generate the following error:
insert disk into drive **

What should I do? I believe that I delete its partition table. How can I
repartition or reformat it?

It is USB 2 Flash memory

I had a similar problem with my USB2.0 stick and Win XP Pro. XP wouldn't
allow me to format the stick at all and I couldn't get it recognised no
matter what I tried.

Sounds long winded but the way I got it working was to place it in a Win98SE
machine and format the stick from there. Works fine in XP and Win2K now.
Odd.

My stick is a 128Mb offering from www.supertalentflash.com, and the memory
chip inside is a Samsung.

HTH.
