I have a very lovely virus that wont go away, I need to format my
SATA2 drive (Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS) however I had to
buy a controller and cable to use it on my SATA motherboard, this
configuration makes formatting a bit tricky since putting the cd in
and rebooting doesnt work, drive doesnt show up so it doesnt format
it, I have to do the raid controllers or something, I dont remember
Its the boot drive, I have no other drives attatched, I'm not really
interested in partitioning it or doing anything other than formatting
the sucker and putting xp back on it

I've formatted at least a hundred times, but for some reason this
drive is intimidating to me

If anyone could provide me with a quick walkthrough it would be much
appreciated
Thanks
