Pogo, my yahoo, worldwinner-pages are mostly functional, but missing
background color etc. Some buttons are not visible, but are
mouseable/useable. Recent crash, disk of drivers downloaded from internet via
another computer was used to reload.
Using IE 8. MacAffee from Comcast. Using Dell Inspiron 600m, Windows XP.
Thank you.

The following is compliments of Robear Dyer (PA Bear):

Those with IE7- and/or IE8-specific questions or comments can post to
and seek support in IE General newsgroup:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In your newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Those with IE8-specific questions or comments can also post in IE Beta
newsgroup for now: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...spx?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta

In your newsreader:

The formatting problem is not due to formatting problems with the web
sites. IE 8 is a major update to Microsoft's browser. For the
"foreseeable" future, hundreds of web site may / may not have
"compatibility" problems in displaying inside of IE 8. MS has
provided a "compatibility" module in IE 8 that might help with the
"older" HTML based web sites.
