I was wondering if it is possible to format multiple action buttons on many
pages at the same time instead of having to go to every page and format
individually?

Thanks

Kerry

A fairly quick way is to select one, double click the format painter and go
through the pres clicking on each action button.

Tou could probably write or get written vba code to do this but it may be
difficult to identify which shapes are action buttons. Do you have v 2007?

Thanks John,

I am using Powerpoint 2003.
Using the format painter will certainly help to speed up the process.

That's good.

You would probably find the "pick up" and "apply format" tools even more
useful. They don't appear in any menu so you need to add them

Tools > customize
Commands tab > Format category > search for pick up object style in the
right hand window
Drag it onto a toolbar

Do the same with the apply object style tool.

The advantage is that the pickup tool remembers the last style even if you
do other things in between. You can create a new button and apply the
remembered style.
