Formatting is lost when linking worksheets

I have multiple worksheets within a single excel workbook,
and have created a 'master' worksheet that is linked to
the data from the remaining worksheets. When I change the
values in the remaining worksheets, it is updated in
the 'master'. However, no formatting changes are updated
such as background or font color, italics, bolding, size,
etc. How would I get the 'master' worksheet to reflect
all of these changes?

You can apply conditional formatting. If you are coding
your formatting... say a if the cell value is above a
certain number and that is the cut off for bolding another
number... you can set the format for any value higher than
that number.
NOTE: "Cell Value Is" refers to the cell you are in. If
you are referring to another cell, you will need to
use "Formula Is" and highlight the cell you want to be the
influence for conditional formatting. I love conditional
formatting. Just play around with it a little and you
will get the hang of it. (goto main
menu>format>conditional formatting> then you will see a
set-up window. You can set up to 3 conditions for
formatting a cell.)
