I'm not sure if this question should be posted here or in
the Word newsgroup...I have created a Word mail merge
document (letter) using results of an Access query as the
data source. One of the fields is a data field which I
want formatted as "mmmm dd, yyyy". The date is in that
format in the query, but once merged, it is in "mm/dd/yy"
format. I need to use the query as the data source and
not a table because the date field in question is a
calculated field (due date). How do I get the merged
field to show up in the proper format? Is that done
through Access or Word? If it should be done through
Word, I'll post this question there. I didn't create the
letter directly in Access because there are several data
fields that must be inserted in the middle of a large
amount of text.
Thanks!
