Formatting Harddrive (PLEASE HELP!)

If I format my harddrive, will it be easy to reinstall
Windows XP? Because I am concerned about the rigorous
piracy checks, and that they might think I'm trying to
double-register windows XP, If I format my drive, can I
simply re-install XP, and re-register, or do I have to
notify Window etc...?

PLEASE HELP!
 
Format away! It is the best anti virus tool that you
have. I'd do it once a week since it takes so little time
on todays high speed computers, but because it takes so
long to download & run all the updates, I do format about
every two months. Maybe next time I'll forget about the
updates, cause the newly installed system runs a lot
faster ( start-up shut-down etc. ) before updates are
done.
