Formatting will wipe the data that is currently on your drive.
You can format the drive by using a Windows 98 or Me Startup floppy. If you
do not have one you can download the makings from
www.bootdisk.com Once the
floppy is created boot with it. At the command prompt type
FDISK and accept the first screen(s) until you get to the FDISK menu screen.
Select the option to Delete Partitions
Select the option to Delete Non-DOS partitions and delete the partition then
use ESC Key to get back to the FDISK menu
Select the option to Create Partitions
Select the option to Create a Primary Partition unless you want a Logical
partition
When finished ESC out and restart the computer leaving the floppy in the
drive
At the command prompt type FORMAT C:
That will do it.
