I have a report that I built based on a from I imported from Word. The only
fileds I cannot format are the drop boxes. They are currently showing with
white text and a black background and I cannot align the text in these drop
boxes either. How do I format these drop boxes so they appear like the rest
of the fields, black text on a white background and I can align the text too.
Thanks!

Uhm... reports are printed out. How do you propose to make a "drop-box"
work on a printed page?

Jeff,

I built a query that pulls the data for the report, then I run the report.
Everything was working well until I saw the formats were inverted on the
report for the dropboxes.

Sorry, but I'm not there. What do you mean by "the formats were inverted"?

And I still don't understand how you can have "dropboxes" on a report?

Jeff,

I'll try to clarify. The fields that are on the input form are formatted as
drop boxes. When I am in the table the data is sent to and I click on these
fields the drop down arrow appears. What I mean by inverted is black
background/white text as opposed to the normal, transparent (or white)
background/black text. Deos this help?

Maybe I'm just being dense today... and you'd be better off with suggestions
from other newsgroup readers.

I'm not understanding what dropboxes on a form have to do with a report.

I'm not aware of a way to change the underlying Windows behavior for
highlighted selections. But my form's comboboxes don't maintain the
white-on-black appearance after I've made my selection...

Good luck!
