Whats a densith disk,cdrw or a hd..Either way,cdsor dvds dont get formatted
for hds, start, run, type:cmd In cmd type:DiskPart /? The help/info menu is displayed
Or,run,type:diskmgmt.msc In msc,if the drive is recognized,L.click it,actions,all
the menus are displayed.FDisk formats hds also.Double-sided or not,it can be done.

Andrew, a double sided high density disk is a 3.5" floppy diskette.. CDRWs
can be formatted if used with Nero's INCD function.. DiskPart and FDISK are
not used to format HDs, but the Format command is.. 'double sided' is not a
term associated with HDs..

How do format a disk on Windows XP

Presuming that, from the description, to be a 1.4 MB floppy; then in My
Computer, right click on the floppy drive, and take Format from the
pop-up

Oh it's Andrew 'the E is for Eejit' again... I would killfile it, but then I
wouldn't be able to stop people from following it's misadvice. Mind you,
they'd have to decipher it first!
