I have copied some values from access to excel. The
numbers are mixed ( some are with one decimal point and
some are integers).
I am trying to format all the numbers to no decimals to
show. ( format- cells number  decimal places to 0).
But Excel is not changing the format. How do I change this
format to no decimals.
Thank you very much.

It kind of sounds like the Numbers are being treated as text.

Try this.

Select an empty cell.
Edit|copy
Select your range of offending cells (whole column(s)??)
edit|paste special|check Add in the operation section.

Now try formatting the cells as number, 0 decimals.

If it didn't work, maybe you have some weird characters in your data. David
McRitchie has a macro that cleans this kind of stuff up. You can find it at:

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/join.htm#trimall
(look for "Sub Trimall()")

David also has instructions on how to install a macro and run it at:
