I am using excel in Office 2007 and this is how this number appears, TT
$ (168086,718). With one coma. I want it to appear TT
$168,086,718 and so does my external auditor and they are holding up
my statements as a result.

Need immediate help please!

Please clarify!
If you type 168086718 in the cell then it displays as "TT$
(168086,718)" or as "$ (168086,718)" ?
Sounds like you have a custom format
Click on the cell and open the format dialog to see how the cell is
formatted
If you come back with more, please tell us what version of Excel you are
using.
best wishes

Hi,

Select the cell and choose Home, open the Number Format menu and choose More
Number Formats, Number tab, Number, 0 Decimal places, and check Use 1000
Separator (,)

Alternately click the , Comma toolbar button and then Decrease Decimals twice.

What does TT mean?
