Hello!
I was having issues installing my wireless network to my
desktop and 2 laptops (clients). Called tech support and
after about 3 hours, I was told to just format my C drive
on desktop and then do a complete XP Windows Pro install.
Question.....my C: drive has been formatted. HOW do I
get my pc to read my CD Rom for the xp install? I went
on the windows xp website and downloaded the windows xp
pro sytem utility, but pc keeps giving me an I/O error.
Can someone help? It seems that all the XP support techs
left for the day!! Go figure! I am on the phone with
them for 3 hours and they tell me to format my c drive
and reinstall windows xp and then leave.........
Please help!
Thank YOU!

The only thing I can think of is to turn your machine on
and try to enter your bios setup. Once you do that you
have to change your boot sequence to include the CD-ROM
drive. After this, it should boot off the CD.

Hope this helps.

To install xp,reboot computer with cd installed,or shut
down, start, boot from cd,xp will auto try to install.

Thanks! I had already tried that! What I ended up doing
was once I did the restart, I had to hit F8 a couple of
times! All is ok now!
Thanks for your help!
