formatpercent function Access 2000

Hi

I have an Access 2000 database that uses the
formatpercent function and it works on several PCs,
despite the info to the contrary in the MS knowldege base
article 225956 that says that the new VBA functions
(including formatpercent) don't work on Access 2000.
These "sucessfull" PCs are running Access 2000 SP3

When I move the db to another PC the formatpercent
funtion does not work. This PC is running Access 2000
SP1.

Does anyone know if this is a 2000 SP3 fixed issue? Or
maybe some other configuration issue on
this "unsuccessful" computer I can find no info on MS
website to confirm that this is a SP3 fixed issue.

I don't know if this was fixed in SP3 or not. However, there is a very nasty
bug with vbe6.dll that is fixed in SP3 and so I would recommend that you
install the patch. You will need to install SP2 first. Let us know if this
does indeed fix the other problem as well.

Thanks Wayne for your reply and suggestion. I'll let you
know if SP3 addresses this issue (this may take a while,
the target PC is at a customer site and their IT people
are notoriously slow -- they just got off Win 95).
