formating my computer

i have tried to format but i cant and i have tried to
restore my computer but i keep getting a fatal system
error. if you could give steps to either formating or
fixing the fatal error that would be a great help

Post the complete exact wording of the "fatal system error" message and let
us have a shot at diagnosing it.
