just a quick question

i have a virus on my computer that i got rid of but it destroyed my cd rom drivers and now i cannot put the windows xp disk back in to reinstall it, is there any way i can format my hard drive and start over from scratch? any help would be great, thank

After you go in safe mode use system restore to reacquire the cd driver.
