format usb pen

I have one usb pen of 1 GB and two of 2 GB.
How format? FAT or FAT32 or an external tirdy part programm?

You should format the drive(s) in the format most convenient for you.

If it will go between several machines (Windows, Macintosh, *nix, etc) -
FAT32 is likely your best bet. NTFS would be good if Windows XP and above
only - if you need security.

FAT32 is the most common and on drives that small - just right-clicking in
Windows XP and choosing to format them and doing so should be all you need
to do.

Is NTFS available when formatting a flash drive (4GB and less)? I don't get
it on my system and I am running XP SP3. How do you do this manually?
