Hi @all,

I use an Spreadsheet in VB.Net and I have the following problem:
When I write 24/6 in a cell, Excel transforms it to 24. Jun but how can
I format this as Text. In the property toolbox you can only format
different kind of numbers and not Text.

How can I solve this problem?

Thank you for your help
Paul

When I type 24/6 in my Excel 2000 it does show up as 24/6 in
text........maybe you could type an apostrophe or space before the 2 and it
would automatically become text.........to just format a cell as text just
highlight it and Right-click > Format cells > Number tab > Text > ok

Sorry, but I use an Excel Spreadsheet in a VB-Programm and I want to
know, how you change the cellformat, so that you can
fill the cell only with Text and I don't want to change this format by
the Excel Spreadsheet.

Have you got any idea?
Thanks a lot
Paul

Posting to a newsgroup entitled "microsoft.public.excel.worksheet.functions"
probably isn't a good choice if you want help with programming.
