Hi,

i have a windows xp computer which is split into two partitions, one with
all my files on it and another with my pagefile and temp files(made by
windows and internet explorer and by me which i don't want to clutter
my computer with for the long-term), is there a way i can have my
computer format that partition on boot, and also is there a way i can
have it say press any key to abort, for like 3 seconds prior to doing
so incase i had unintentionally left something on that partition

thanks for the help in advanced

Why on earth?

The page file is recreated every time you restart Windows. To clear
Temporary Internet Files each time you close a browsing session, simply open
Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advances and put a
checkmark in Empty TIF folder when browser is closed. To clean out temp
files, simply run the Disk Cleanup tool.
