How do I format outlook contact phone numbers to not be one string in Outlook
2003? I want to change 5555555555 to (555) 555-5555. Thanks.

I saw that instruction. My problem is when it says
"Click AutoDialer, and then click Dialing Properties." I could not see or
find AutoDialer on my Contacts Toobar - I see the Dialing icon but not the
AutoDialer, much less dialing properties.

Outlook does this automatically when your dialing location is set correctly.

If you had already tried a solution posted in the KB, why would you not
include that in your post? We aren't your lab rats. Now explain how you set
the default dialing location for your operating system so we won't have to
keep reading your mind.

I think I see your problem now. If your OS is Windows XP, try Phone and
modem options in Control Panel
