I have a laptop which was inherited from a company which
was disposing of old equipment. It's loaded with
Wind2000, and has a 6GB hard drive which is divided into 4
different drives (why I don't 'know). I want to redo the
entire drive so that it's a single partition, so that
there is more room available on the C: drive (what would
be fdisk the format and install the operating system under
Windows 98). Not sure how to do this with Windows 2000.
The computer only has one drive bay, so it has either a
floppy drive or a CD drive installed, but not both at the
same time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just boot off the Win2K CD and it will give you the option to
delete/recreate/format your disk partitions.

Greetings --

Simply boot from the Win2K Upgrade CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process.
