Hello,

I'm using Office 2003 on Windows XP. When I copy speaker notes from one PPT
file over to another, some format info gets lost, for example, a bulleted
list will lost bullets after copied to the new ppt file. This is annoying -
anyone please help on this.

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

Are you selecting the text then copy/pasting it, or selecting the entire notes
text placeholder and copy/pasting that?

I just did a quick test and it did transfer the bullets, even when I selected the
text in note page view and copy/pasted it into the text placeholder in another
presentation, also in notes view.

Copy/pasting into the notes pane may have a different effect.

Does this always happen to you? If so, what *exact* set of steps do you follow?

Make sure the placeholder on the notes page master (in the file you're
pasting into) has bullet points set up.
