I am merging several large presentations by copying and pasting. When I do,
some formatting changes on the pasted slides (slide title color and some text
box formatiing). Why does this happen and what can I do about it?

thanks!

2003.

Okay.

PPT takes on the formatting of the presentation you're pasting into. In PPT
2002 and 2003, you should get a Paste Options icon immediately after you
paste. Click on it, and you should have an option to "keep source
formatting."

Here's some information specific to why colors change:

If you dont get the paste options buttons Echo mention it may be turned off
in tools > options >edit

I would use insert slides from files > retain source format instead of cut
and paste
