The Disk Management tool under Storage in the Computer Management
console (run compmgmt.msc) manages partitions on your hard disk.
However, most OEM installs of XP partition the one hard drive as a
single partition and therefore there is nothing you can do to it.
Formatting the partition that you are running Windows from is akin to
pulling the rug out from under your own feet. So if you see just the one
partition in Disk Management and you want to change it, you'll have to
boot the XP CD and delete this existing partition and start over.
