Format Function

I keep getting this weird error maybe someone can help
Fuction isn't available in expressions in query expressio
((Format([Orig_Appt_Dt],'dd/mm/yyyy'))<>Format([Act_Del_Dt],'dd/mm/yyyy')
OR ((Format([Orig_Appt_Tm],"Short Time"))<>Format([Act_Del_Tm],"Short Time"))

The weird thing is that it was working fine throughout all last yean and until about the beginning of january, then it began giving me that error message. Help is appreciated in advance. Thanks.

A library reference may be missing.
Open any module in Design view.
On the Tools menu, click References.
Click to clear the check box for the type library or object library
marked as "Missing:."

An alternative to removing the reference is to restore the referenced
file to the path specified in the References dialog box. If the
referenced file is in a new location, clear the "Missing:" reference
and create a new reference to the file in its new folder.
