Format computer

Hey...
I need to format my computer but when I try to boot it up on the
windows cd it asks for the admin code but I don’t have it... I tried
typing in the one my user(i am the admin) have but it’s not that
one... how can i find it/bypass it? Please HELP!

Then you are doing something wrong. Set the BIOS to boot from the CD and
it should then take you through the process....

You're probably in the Recovery Console which means you're in the wrong
place. Review these instructions for how to clean-install XP:

There would be no need to login or enter a password if you're intent
upon formatting the hard drive.

After backing up any data you wish to transfer to the new OS
installation, simply boot from the WinXP Home installation CD. You'll
be offered the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as
part of the installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order
of boot devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

Then the backed up data can be restored and applications re-installed.
