how can i delete the whole hard-disk? Or better, how can
i get in the MS-Dos-does it still exist with win XP? If
i'm trying to del the c: the PC's telling me that i'm
using the harddisk so I wouldn't be able to delete. So
how can I ge his?

Hi Manuel,

If you boot the Windows XP Embedded CD-ROM (disk 1), you will boot WinPE.
WinPE runs off the CD-ROM and allows you to format and configure your
hardisk. Use the diskpart and format commands.

This does not pertain to Format c:'s question, but
for those who are running embedded and experience the
diskpart error message about not being able to delete a
partition because it's in use, just add the word "override"
to your delete command such as:

Select disk 0
select partition 1
delete override

That will delete the first partition on disk 0 no matter
who the computer might be thinking is using it.
