That link's fine in theory for other OS's, Chris, but unfortunately in
practice, XP has a mind of its own.
Occasionally it works, but most times it will say the disk cannot be
formatted, or just merrily clicks away for a few minutes, than asks to
please insert disk.
The only solution anyone seems to have found to date is to format it on
another non-XP PC.
The only "sort of" solution I've found so far in XP is to open the floppy
and just delete the existing files - at least that frees up the space and
allows you to use the floppy.
