Hello,
Thank you for posting in the community.
From your description, I understand that you could not open your form
which containing 2 subforms after you created it. You have tried "compact
and repair" and went into the design view. However, they didn't work and
the form is still unable to be opened.
I'm unsure if there is any warning or error message you received when you
failed to open the form. Additionally, what made you think the form was
locked. Are there any clues on your side? Please specify more detailed
information so that things will be clearer and we will move closer to the
cause and solution of the problem. Thanks in advance!
Based on my experience, it may be possible to open that form after
importing it into a new database together with its bound resources (queries
and tables). I recommend you create a new blank database and import the
form, needed queries and tables to see if you can manage to open it.
If we can open the form in the new database, we may consider
import/create the rest objects to suppress the bad data in the database.
Please apply my suggestions above and let me know if this helps resolve
your problem. If there is anything more I can do to assist you, please feel
free to post it in the group
