Form won't open after split

I have an Access database that needs to be used by multiple entry clerks. So
I perform database split but after "successfully" performing the split and
creating the new _be file the front end file's Form will not open. I get the
hour glass cursor for awhile and then it (ACCESS) just freezes. What's up
with this?

Insufficient information!

Have you moved the backend to a different folder, such as a shared
network drive? If you open the frontend and use Tools... Database
Utilities... Linked Table Manager, do the tables have the correct path
to the backend? If you Select All and relink, does it help? What's the
Form's Recordsource?

One possible problem: if you've used the Switchboard Wizard to create
a Switchboard form, it won't work with a linked table. You'll need to
delete the link to Switchboard in the Tables window of the frontend,
and then use File... Get External Data... Import to import the
switchboard table to the frontend database.
